Howard L. Clemons

Howard has deep experience with executive compensation matters and the treatment of executives in mergers and acquisitions. Before establishing his current practice, Howard practiced in the executive compensation and employee benefits groups of the international law firms of Fulbright & Jaworski (now Norton Rose Fulbright), Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer and Feld, and Pillsbury, Winthrop, Shaw Pittman LLP. Howard established his current practice at the beginning of 2020, after having been a partner for 28 years at Pillsbury and leading Pillsbury’s Washington, DC/Northern Virginia Executive Compensation & Benefits practice, Howard’s experience includes advising executives, boards of directors and compensation committees on executive compensation matters at companies ranging from start-ups to publicly traded corporations, as well as tax-exempt organizations. During his career Howard has advised on employee and executive matters for hundreds of merger and acquisition transactions.

When he is not busy working, you may find Howard at a swimming pool or out running or cycling and getting ready for his next race event.
